Things to come

Ahh, my anniversary weekend. My first anniversary to be exact and a great year it's been.

Have you ever had so many things you want to do that you can't do them all when you want to do them? Of course you have, and I am no exception. My goal with this blog is to give myself an avenue in which to write. Writing, I have found, is just like any skill you obtain; without constant practice you begin to lose your edge. In my case the edge is all but gone, rusty and nasty looking. So, this is a place I hope to regain that edge and sharpen it on a regular basis. Hopefully bringing about enjoyment for both myself and those who happen to stumble across my humble blog.

Some things I've been thinking about and would like to exercise my writing muscles upon are:

1.) My dislike of Fourth of July services in church.
2.) What ministry in church would be like if the pastors were all paid the same salary.
3.) My reactions to the ongoing political climate in the U.S.
4.) Reactions to the ongoing war on terror.
5.) Reactions to just about anything I react to.

Anyway, no time to dig into it now. I've got to leave on my anniversary celebration with my wonderful, beautiful wife.
