Zimbabwean MOU

It's been awhile since I posted an actual, readable post for the masses. I know you've all been clamoring for more. (Anyone???)

Zimbabwe has been through the ringer. Since I last posted they've had "elections" which were...interesting. If you haven't been following what's been going on I won't try to summarize here. I don't have the time or desire to do it justice right now. There are plenty of places to find all the info you need to inform yourself.

However there has been a stride made in the right direction. Yesterday Mugabe, Tsvangirai, and Mutambara signed a Memorandum of Understanding. You can follow the link to the actual MOU.

This will be something to follow. Whether ZANU-PF will hold to their promises is something that I believe is still in question. I hope that the pressure on them from both the international community and internally is great enough to compel them to continue on this path. We will see.
